Campobello di Mazara is a Sicilian town in the province of Trapani and is commonly referred to as just “Campobello.”  Campobello di Mazara borders the cities of Mazara del Vallo & Castelvetrano.  The land is made up of limestone and red & brown soil.  The Campobello di Mazara economy revolves around the production of olives, grapes, almonds, cereals, sheep & cattle.

It is believed that Campobello di Mazara began in 1618 by Giuseppe Napoli.

Important attractions include the "Museum of the life and work of peasant" & the “Cave Rock of Cusa” which is where the stone from Selinute was extracted to build temples.

Many Mangiaracina families can be traced back to Campobello di Mazara.  We are continually researching the history of Campobello di Mazara and will be providing this information as soon as possible.

If you have pictures or information on the town of Campobello di Mazara and would like to post this on the website please submit information here.
